Why I Created Martial Arts Studio

In many martial arts schools, testing is often based on subjective scores given by masters. Unfortunately, these scores don’t always reflect a student’s true growth. Students may pass or fail, but they are often left wondering: “Am I really improving?”
I wanted to change that. Growth has always been the core value I emphasize in my teaching, so I created Martial Arts Studio to provide students with objective data that makes their progress visible and meaningful.
With this system, every test is more than just a grade — it becomes a measurement of growth. Students can see how their speed, strength, endurance, and skills improve over time. After each test, students can immediately review their progress, whether it's 'Agility Forward' or 'Kicking Endurance.' As shown in the images below, all growth is visualized with easy-to-understand graphs and precise **growth rate (%) data**. This clear evidence helps students see the direct results of their hard work.

My goal with Martial Arts Studio is simple: to create a testing system that is fair, motivating, and focused on true growth — so that every student can feel proud of how far they’ve come and excited about how far they can go.

My Mission
My mission is to help every student grow in body, mind, and spirit through Taekwondo training. Physically, I want students to become healthier, stronger, and improve their skills step by step. Mentally, I want them to build perseverance and resilience by overcoming challenges, and to gain confidence as they realize, “I can do it.”
I also believe in the importance of attitude and character — showing respect, practicing discipline, and treating others with courtesy. Through this journey, my hope is that students will not only become stronger martial artists but also better individuals. To inspire this growth, I commit myself to keep growing every day as a master and as a person.

Partner Drills
- Respect and communication
- Cooperation and patience
- Responsibility for others' learning
We remind our students:
A partner is not a competitor — they are a teammate.
And real success comes not just from winning, but from helping others succeed too.
Testing System
In our testing system, Taekwondo techniques are evaluated based on the five key components of physical fitness.
This approach ensures that students develop balanced skills in both technique and physical conditioning.

Badge / Ranking System
I have set up the badge system so that each student can earn badges as they set goals and work hard to achieve them. I truly believe this system motivates our children, encourages them to strive towards their goals, and helps them build a strong spirit of challenge.
